The Grads!

What a perfect evening! Our niece & nephew, Kayla & Marcus graduated from High School this weekend. Ray & MaryK put on a nice bash! There was lots of food, dancing, swimming & socializing! (Seems we have some talented pole dancers in the family!)
Best of luck to you both as you get ready for your next adventure!
Quick update also! Referrals have been sent out for up to June 28, 2005!! The next batch will take us into July!!!! Moving along!

Some new pics!

Just wanted to post some new pics. Most of the pond plants and one of me when I'm not numb with anesthetic!! LOL
Fred and I went to a patients wedding a couple hours after flying home from Vegas on the red eye and that's when this picture was taken! I probably could have smiled a little more and would normally have smaller bags under my eyes!!
Hope you're all enjoying beautiful weather!

Winding Down

Well, the school year is coming to an end. Today is "Pajama Day" and Sophia couldn't be happier!
My second trip out to Vegas was the best! It was lots of review and we really had a good time. Missed our connecting flight in Philly on our way out though and had to spend the night there. On a positive note, I LOVE my smile!!
We're praying that the next batch of referrals will be on their way in a week or so!
I can't wait for them to get into the July dates, since we are August!!
There are so many great things going on this month!
Fred is getting ready to go away this Sunday morning until Friday night. He has to go up to Buffalo for work.
Our niece and nephew, Marcus & Kayla are getting ready to celebrate their graduation and MaryK and I will be taking Sophia to the city to visit the American Girl store. I can't wait (and neither can she!!)
Our next camping trip will be over July 4th weekend. Sophia hopes to go to the beach and visit Mystic Aquarium while we're out there, we'll have to see how the weather is.
The pond is still thriving. Fred takes very good care of maintaining it, I hope I do as well while he is away!! Our pink and white lilies are blooming now and we just discovered that we have tiny tadpoles from the "peeper" frogs!! It's going to get noisy at night!!
Love to all until next month!!

Taking a breather!

May and June are always crazy months and this year has been no exception!
Work is busy, especially with our travels to Las Vegas. Looks like the whole staff will be returning two more times in the fall as well as next week! Good thing I don't have a gambling problem! I included a couple pics from our last months trip.
Sophia has started her tennis lessons and school ends on June 23rd.
Referrals have been sent out up to date June 15th as of now. (We are Aug. 24th) Slowly but surely we are getting closer. Have to get the finishing touches done to the nursery soon. I'll tell you this, she will be well dressed!!
The pond is wonderful, we absolutely love it!! We have a resident green frog of some kind as well as about four "peeper" frogs that we love to listen to in the evening. We also purchased two huge koi fish! One is a yellow ogon and the other is a bright red and black alka bekka. They are beautiful and the two babies follow them around.
Camping over Memorial Day weekend was lots of fun and Fred enjoyed the flat track races with our neighbor Dan.
Until next month!!
